    hi,
i have purchased a house with an open fire. i want to put a back boiler in but i am wondering how much it will cost for the boiler and how much a plumber would be charging to do the job.
are there lots of options out there in regard to boilers?
I am in the galway area

    This probably better in DIY.

Cost around €1400 fitted, including new copper cylinder. Quite simple job in a standard semi-d. as a lot depends on position of hot press in relation to fire place.
