Hi all, just a few questions from a total gobsheen when it comes to cars (it aint even my car)

Anyway how does €2000 sound for a 2001 Peugeot 206 1.1 with 67000 on the clock? Good deal, bad deal, or no deal?

2 female drivers previous (2nd one is one sellin it) and two small jobs needed on it, one is replacing the timer belt and other has to do with the exhaust (some little part on it not sure) and mechanic quote for this is at least €150 current owner is offering to knock €100 off the price and fill the tank

So all in all what do you think?

Sounds a little expensive for it. Also, a timing belt and exhaust will cost more than €150. It will be more like 400-600e.

Is the car NCT'd and taxed? If it not, i reckon €1000 is all you'll get for it. €1200 maybe.

If its taxed and tested, might get a little more, say €1400-1600.

I was a bit thrown back by the price of that at first and after i heard it needs some repairs... €1000-€1500 i reckon.
