Questions about economics

    Hi

I would like to know from someone who have studied some courses in economics at NUIM what he/she thinks about them. Most importantly, what school do the teachers support? Keynesian, neoclassical, austrian etc?

It's not that I can't tolerate other people's opinions, I really can, but if I had to sit for years listening to teachers talking about how Keynes saved the US from the great depression all the time, I would throw up:(

Now, sometimes teachers don't tell you what school they support, but to be more specific: Do they use Homo economicus as a model (neoclassical)? Are they more or less obsessed with Aggregate demand (Keynesian)? Does NAIRU exist (Monetarist)?

I hope we can take the discussion about what theory is correct somewhere else, since that is irrelevant - I'm just interested in what the teachers think.

    Thanks in advance
    /John
