Fascia & Soffit replacement - suggestions & prices?

I am looking at getting Fascia Boards and Soffits replaced on a 22 year old house. The timber has been well maintained, so I don't think there is any serious rotting.

What are peoples views on putting PVC cladding on existing Fascias vs replacing Fascias entirely? I presume it makes sense to replace the soffit, even if you clad the existing Fascia?

It's a small 3-bed terraced townhouse. I will probably persuade the next-door neighbour to do the same, so we are looking at a total of 20m for the two houses including back and front, no side walls. Any views on reasonable prices for the two options?

    Any other tips appreciated?
