    Only noticed this today - did a search and can't find it mentioned here, so here goes.

    Shopto.net have some good deals from time to time, and they've launched a service for customers to get price and availability sent to their mobile phones.

    You sign up for an account, put in your mobile number, using "+353" as your prefix, and you're ready to go. I tried it and it works.

    So, when you're out & about, you text "Silent Hill xbox360" to +447786205602, and you get back a text like this
    Code:XB2SIO1
    Name: Silent Hill: Homecoming
    Stock: Stock due in
    Price: 34.99GBP

    TXT "PREORDER XB2SIO1" to preorder!"
    Haven't tried actually pre-ordering yet, but as a price check when you're shopping its dead handy.

    Its an international text, so its 25c to send a text (depending on what network/plan your with) - the reply doesn't cost you anything. Worth putting in your address book IMHO.
