I'm looking to buy a Callaway Sand Wedge for a friend. He got a golf set but didn't get the wedge. He says it's €130 in shops. It's hard to search Ebay when I don't know exactly what I'm looking for as there's so many types. Any idea's what I should be searching for or what's the cheapest I'd expect to get it brand new?

This is sold now but is this what he'd be looking for:

If its a case that it doesnt have to be brand new then you can always try the Callaway Pre-Owned website:

    http://callawaygolfpreowned.com/wedges/wedges-x-20.aspx

The link above will bring you directly into the page that sells the callaway X20 wedges that you are after. They price the clubs based on the condition its in, but that particular club in excellent condition shouldnt be any more than 80 or 90 dollars. Take a look, you may get one for even cheaper in there.

If its a brand new X20 wedge that he's after then ebay is an option but be careful as to what you are buying. Dont buy from anyone located in China and if the price is too good to be true then it generally is.

Failing that you can always go to the likes of McGuirks, Halpenny Golf, Golf Cresche etc. A new line of Callaway clubs called the X22 have recently been released so maybe you'll now get the X20 for less than the €130 you saw it advertised for. Try haggling with them too.

    Good Luck.

Golf Bidder are excellent also. They use UPS and it's usually delivered inside 48 hours, cost £10.

Don't we first need to establish which model is the correct one (and whether it is left or right handed).

There's no way of knowing this without asking or getting a picture of the back of the head of another one of the irons in the set.
