Broadband on, Broadband off, Broadband on, Broadband off

    Hey,

    I our broadband is continuously going on and all. We are on Eircom with their Netopia router. Essentially every hour or so the DSL light switches off on the router, it will then switch on and off every minute or so for about 10 minutes, then you get another hour of use and on it goes.

    We have rung Eircom about the situation on 4 occassions and have been given 4 explanations from your telephone line is not capable of handling the speed you are paying for, to it is capable of paying, to there is nothing wrong, to reset your modem and it will all be fine.

    None of it has worked and we are still in the same situation. Become a real pain in the neck..

    Any ideas?
