Having a bit of a problem with my ps3, its not outputting the signal to my tv through scart. Tried several scart leads but no joy. Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do, or anyone that could have a look at it in Galway?

Have you recently used the HDMI signal output and changed back to scart. If so the PS3 can determine which one is used. Hold the PS3 button for approx 10 seconds when it's switched off( pretty sure it's when it's switched off ) and it will select the signal output automatically.

Tried that, still the same problem. Only getting sound and no picture.

Check the scart connector on the TV side. Look for a bend pin. If possible can you check the video using the yellow video signal on you TV.

Done that, wii works fine with it, ps3 isn't working on the other tv either.

I'd try that holding down the button until you hear the console beep a second time when you turn it on again. It usually fixes it.

looks like its either the cable or the scart output from the PS3. If possible you should try another scart cable or try another PS3 using your cable. Hopefully it's just the cable
