ACTION PLAN: to save Nenagh hospital.

I just would like to start a thread, in relation to all notes, updates and news with the hospital of Nenagh.

It's been threatened to close down. This is very very worrying for not only the people of Nenagh a population of 8,000. But the Whole of North Tipperary, parts of Offaly and Mid Tipp inclusive. That is a population of over 70,000 people. They are planning to load this pressure onto the already overcrowded underfunded Limerick Regional. If Nenagh hospital was to close down, many lives will be at greater risk.

I hope there's a good turn out at the protest tomorrow. (1pm, St. Johns church beside the hospital)

I still can't believe they are considering this. How many people will die in ambulances on the way to Limerick hospital, sorry I mean the "Centre of Excellence", when they could be saved by going to their local hospital?
