Ok so the boss is acting like everything is fine but we dont trust him. Just checked the cro site and it says the company was dissolved 2 weeks ago!

He's been pushing to get job finished, billing out everything and has been missing alot. He's seriously stressed but constantly jokes and reassures us.

What exactly does dissolved mean and is there a time frame for the place to close?

Also he has no idea that we know about it. Should we just ask him outright? I know that will start a war but I dont think he will volunteer any info until it may be too late.

Can you not just ask him out straight?

The company does not exist as a legal entity. The contracts of employment entered into by you are no longer in force. Any insurance effected by the company such as employers insurance may not be valid. If you have an unfair dismissal case you could have serious trouble in collecting money. Equally if you are injured at work you may find that there is no insurance. Confront the bosss immediately by sending a registered letter enclosing documentation from the companies ofice and find out what is going on.
