Was tempted to add to the existing thread looking for a Dublin contact, but this might of use to others so may as well ask my own....I'm looking for an ex-Renault mechanic in or around Cork City, particularly west side to do a full 72,000 service on a diesel Clio (timing belt, water pump etc). Don't fancy dealership prices but as its a major one and I've been to dodgy mechanics before I'd love to hear if anyone knows of someone they'd vouch for? I was considering getting the parts together myself from UK sites, would this be an issue to any workshops?

Give Alisdair a shout at the parts desk in Renault Enniskillen, she's quite friendly and will post parts down to you.

Can't help you with a garage recommendation but try over on Octane.ie, there's plenty of Cork peeeples on there.
