'Snow' in Portmarnock

Well it looked like it was all gonna go well when i woke at 330am on Monday to check to see if the first snows had arrived and they had with a small dusting.

I waited and waited and waited but nothing game all day until evening.

Around 4pm

Then that was it all night as sleet fell all night.

I awoke very disappointed on Tuesday but a heavy snow shower arrived around 3pm with absolutely huge flakes.

And here's Portmarnocks biggest snowdrift of the FREEZE!

All in all quite disappointing considering everywhere got loads even a few miles away and the synoptics were so good.

Hoping for a little bit over the next few days

I'll throw up my pics of today!

I woke up with not much hope, there were just a few light showers in the Irish sea and there was a few spits of light rain falling then some light sleety snow began to fell.

Then i saw the radar and a big'wan looked to be headed this way, around 11am a big snow shower arrived with lovely big snow flakes, it began to lay fairly quickly and snowed heavily for around 45mins and lightly for another 45mins.

I went for a walk! Here are some pics.
