    Hi,

I recently converted my T4 VW transporter into a camper, it is classed as a commercial and is taxed and insured/taxed as such.

In the conversion i had two windows fitted in the back, the van has a low roof and a sink, gas-cooker and fridge.

Will I need to have the vehicle reclassed? or will I just leave it as is?

Any advice is helpful, can't make head nor tail of the VRT manuals available at revenue.ie and the VRO aren't taking calls, I've left some messages there but thay haven't got back to me

    Thanks

I think you need 1.8 metres of standing height in the area behind the driver seat before it can be classed as a camper..:(
