insurance claim for delay & cancellation

    i had bought multi trip travel insurance for 1 year.
    last week, BA delayed their long haul flight to india by 5hrs.
    they gave us 5pound voucher as compensation.

    can we ask our travel insurance for flight delay claim?

    also due to snow in london, the flights back to london from india are cancelled for last 3 days
    my flight is on friday...incase of cancellation, BA may put me on next flight or on a different route..
    in that case , what am i entitled from my travel insurance?

    Sorry but there's little we can do for you here I'm afraid besides give examples of our own experience. Every insurance package will be different and only you with your contract can know what you're entitled to or not. :)

    You'll get nothing for your outbound delay and BA have fulfilled their obligation to you with the fiver to cover a snack.

    As for the return, you'll need to contact your broker or provider, no-one here can answer you.
