Probably a power connection slipped out when you were moving. Does it beep or do the fans spin up or anything, or is it just dead?

Unless you're familiar with the innards of a PC, and assuming it's not MASSIVELY urgent, I'd just leave it for your brother to deal with tomorrow.

nope nothing happens :(,could it be that I need a new power supply?

Is there a switch at the back of the power supply near where the lead plugs in?

Maybe you pressed it by accident?

    regards

oh and before I moved it,I unplugged it from the socket and removed the connection at the back of the computer for the plug, would that have made any difference?then I took it upstairs and connected it at the back and plugged it in again and thats when it would'nt come on,no lights no noise no nothing.

You sure the socket is working and the switch is on ? I know it sounds simple but it'll take 10 seconds to check and might save hours of blank stares at a PC's innards ....

yup it is,I tryed it in my room first and then I tryed it down stairs again where I had all along and it would start up,theres no lights no noise no nothing,I should have left it where it was

Have you tried a different power lead? Could be the fuse in it gone.

At the risk of stating the obvious...
Have you tried changing the fuse inside the plug?
If not, change it, just make sure you sway if for one that's the same amp.
