Another six months and we'll be alone,
The strings from above cut from the top
I realise all this as I walk home in the rain
It took me all these years to realise the beauty in this place

On the tv screen swirled,
ten American good old boys and girls
with a giant stars and stripes unfurled, screaming kill the world, kill the world


And we're told that the truth is always the first casualty, and everything follows
And we're taught a million things nobody can explain
And I realise this as I walk towards my home in the rain


The common goal is to destroy everything we can't repair
Decency, humanity, love, existence,
We, just another branch of the animal, with all our infinite values
Destined to burn, destined to be just a mere dream


Before we leave, let us burn our flags.

they switching the TV broadcast from analog over to digital
digital broadcast takes less frequency space in the TV broadcast
changing TV broadcast
from analog which directly steer the electron gun behind a tube screen.
to digital which transfers information by bits

anyway,
the new single won't work on old TVs
and the market is discoving that those still watching TV on the air
don't care enough to get a converter box

so when they change comes, they won't be watching TV
and some might walk in the rain
