306 diesel rocker cover oil leak!!

    I own a year 2000 306 Estate with a 1.9 straight diesel engine.
On Sunday, after a "spirited drive" to get somewhere on time for a change, there was smoke coming from under the bonnet when we parked. A closer inspection revealed the top of the engine was covered in oil.

I had a look tonight and when I rev the engine, oil spits out from under a round plastic thing on the top of the rocker cover. Can anyone tell me how to fix this leak? The rocker cover gasket itself seems to not be leaking. The engine was pretty clean before the incident on Sunday.

I have checked the rubber breather and its clear, changed the air and diesel filters.

    Any help greatly appreciated!:)
