I havent seen this before - I've always known they do traffic counter data, but they've added a 'historic counts' section to their website now.

I just checked one for the N11 and it goes right back to 1999.

Interesting to see if you have time on your hands :D BUT THE LINKS ARE WRONG, REPLACE THE / IN THE WEB ADDRESS WITH A \ .

I also notice since they updated their counter site, there is errors dotted on many counters

The N7 ones are terribly inaccurate. Moneygall, and Borris in ossary have unusually low counts for the last few months. Yet at Limerick end and Portlaoise, traffic levels are the norm.

The same on a few of the N8 counters I've looked at.

Also they really need to update the network. Since many motorways are on stream now.
    Ones should be added
    M7 When finished.
    Limerick tunnell onced opened.
    West of Birdhill interchange
Nenagh bypass west of Thurles interchange.
East of Moneygall interchange (roughly where the existing one is on the N7)
    West of Roscrea
West of Borris in ossary (near M8 flyover) and another before the Toll.

    M8.
One before it joins the M7.
    South of Cullahil.
    North of Urlingford
    Horse and Jockey.
    South of Cashel bypass
    South of Cahir
Kilworth camp (where the existing one already is)
    Fermoy toll
Watergrasshil (already one existing on the route now)
    Glanmire

Just Where I see the appropriate places for the new counters. All the National primary route counters will be classified as R roads once the motorway's are completed. The NRA should keep up to date with the counters as they are with the actual road opening's.

Sorry for being a teeny bit OT Chris. Just thought this would be the appropriate place to say while you have a thread posted up on the Traffic counters. Don't need the hassel in creating a separate thread.
