Question about bus from Busáras to the airport

I'm gettin bus eireann from limerick (19.30) to dublin, arrive at 23.10...will there be city link to the airport that late...?

decided train gave me more time....apparently not, departs limerick at 19.50 arrives in hueston 22.20 ...last city link from hueston is 22.20.. I can't feckin win :mad:

Just get a bus or Luas from Heuston to Busaras. If you get the number 90 from Heuston, get off at the front of the Custom Hosue and walk around the back to Busáras. at that hour, there won't be many delays.

ya but last bus from Busaras to the airport is 22.15.. And I cannot figure out that air coach thing..

Get a bus / Luas to either O'Connell Street or Westmoreland Street. The departure times for the Aircoach (dark blue coach) are from the airport, so if you are going to the airport, you can only really rely on frequency, not an exact time.

Note that many trains are arriving into Heuston early because there is padding in the timetable.

i suppose you have to fly in the early morning hours.

there is a JJ Kavanagh bus from LIM at 01:00am direct to the airport. it arrives at 4:30am. the busses are very reliable and the drivers are sound. i've used them myself. they go straight from the Limerick Touris Information (Arthurs Quay) to the Airport and are even using the Port Tunnel in DUB.

An open return ticket is €30.

The last 747 Airlink departs Busáras for Dublin Airport at 22:45, not 22.15 that's the second last bus.

If the worst comes to the absolute worst, get a lift to Shannon, Citylink to Galway, then Citylink from Galway to Dublin Airport.

The train arrives at 2220, and a LUAS will should get you to Abbey stop for 2235 at the latest.

From there you have the following choices:
1) 747 AIRLINK from O'Connell Street (beyond the GPO) at 2250 - Fare EUR 6.
2) 41 from Lower Abbey Street (outside Irish Life building) at 2245 or 41B at 2315 from the same stop - Fare EUR 2.20
3) 16A at about 2300 from O'Connell Street (beyond the AIRLINK stop) - Fare EUR 2.20.
4) AIRCOACH from O'Connell Street (near the top) every 20 mins - Fare EUR 7.00
