Hello sorry for starting another tyres thread.

Have been given a quote for two BFGoodrich g-Force tyres fitted and balanced for €200.

other option is 2 Perelli P600's supplied and fitted for €220.

Have rung around but can't get internet tyres fitted any where.

Currently have Michelin energy tyres on car and they have only done 15,000Kms but down to 3mil thread.

Car is a Golf GT sport 140bhp.

    Thanks for any help.

May I suggest Toyo's? An excellent tyre for wear, thread and noise at a reasonable price ! I think Hanover Tyre Depots do them.......And no, I'm not any way affiliated, just talking from experience !

In a recent Which magazine report in the UK - the BF Goodrich G-Force Profiler came out joint 5th in a survey of about 100 tyres.
The only ones above them were , Michelin Pilot Sport PS 2 , Continental Sports Contact 3, Pirelli P7 , Michelin Primacy.
I know nothing about any of these tyres - I just kept a copy of the report for future reference. Hope this is useful?

Goodyear Eagle F1's are very well reviewed. I just bought four of them. No complaints.

    Try www.camskill.co.uk

Folks here seem to be happy enough with their service and prices.

Just remember to budget to have them fitted too.

I've had P6000's but would suggest P7000's as a better alternative if you can get your size/if they fit your budget.

I've got a set of Falken FK452's on order - supposed to be very good tyres and don't cost the earth... Also considered Toyo Proxies...

Yep, I can vouch for them. Just last week got a set of Vredestein Ultracs for £80 each, €120 on eiretyres, got them fitted for €50 in Confey tyres in Leixlip, nice little saving there, and savage tyres too. Ordered them on Saturday and had them the following Wednesday.

vredestein Get very good reviews. You can purchase them from eiretyres.com, I'd recommend getting 5.

Yeah, they are actually the latest version of the Ultracs, the Sessantas, I only drive an A3 2.0 TDI which will get nowhere near to testing the limits of those tyres, but when they're as cheap as that, then why not? :)

Just an update on my Falken FK452, they just arrived - were ordered on Monday night. The cost was less than €75 a corner including delivery.

They are a performance tyre with good wear & get very good reviews - I laboured over this tyre choice as I've always bought Pirellis or Bridgestones in the past...

From my research different tyres work well on different cars.
Maybe check out an owners club for recommendations.
