    Yep a really nice guy...........won the seniors in 2000 beating Paul McClosky in the light welter final..........got to the quarters in the worlds in belfast.

    Left the amateur game and turned pro.........had a few fights and then knocked it on the head............read somewhere on irishboxing.com that he is making his comeback.........good to see him back........reckon himself, oisin fagan and andy murray could have some good scraps for the irish title.

    I have seen him fight several times. He was a lovely neat and compact fighter; resembled the pro style. He had little power however. Wasn't he the world military champion?

    Yep think it was 1999 or 2000 that he won that.
