    Car Tyres
I did a bit of shopping around recently to get some new tyres. I found online to be best, but even online there was large price differences.

I was looking at a set of 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tyres, size 215/45/17

    • Advance Pitstop - Includes fitting / balancing €720
    • Parkway Tyre Centre (Limerick) includes fitting etc €580
    • www.eiretyres.com €559.20 (fitting extra)
    • www.camskill.co.uk €396.20 (fitting extra)
I got two fitted for €8 a corner locally after buying from camskill.

I ordered them on either the sunday or monday, can't remember. Arrived Wednesday.

    Bit of a difference!

Note: Posted in Bargains alerts, where it was pointed out there may be interest here too.

Thats brilliant, and they are good tyres too.

Im paying €340 for 4 low/medium range tyres so I might go and order from them and get the locals to throw them on!

Ring around the locals first. Some of them seem to get a bit offended if you ask them about fitting tyres off the internet!

+1. I bought 4 Hankook Ventus a few months ago from camskill.co.uk - saved myself a mint and they're great tyres for the price. Got a mate in the local garage to fit them, done and dusted in a matter of minutes.
