    Hey folks,

I had a flight booked with Aer Lingus today and it was canceled, there was a refund form on their website yesterday to request a refund though I can't for the life of me figure out where it is today?.

They hardly removed this functionality in a day?. Anyone know where it is or how to get to it.

I tried calling but I was on hold way too long, not surprising given todays travel problems.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Cheers..

Hmmmm, I can't seem to find it anywhere. Not even using their own site search.

Maybe you have to log in to their site?

However Google turned up this and references to refunds on this.

It's not unthinkable that they took it down. Maybe continue ringing them?

    Cheers Irish,

I managed to get through to them there...and all sorted.

I swear on my life though I was in a web form yesterday to
request a refund!. It was on the bloody site!.

No sign of it today, is quite strange...

I was on an Aer Lingus flight today for 3 hours. When I got off, I was still on the tarmac. Can't get out of the airport, cant get Aer Lingus on the phone, queue to their little stall has hundreds of people in it. I'm in the Bar. Not having a good day :(

Off topic and afraid to open a new thread, but does anyone know if it's possible to swap a flight to the same destination on the same day at the same price. It's with AL to Chicago. There's plenty of seats left on the plane, will they do a swap for no charge? Thanks.

    Google found this;

    http://www.aerlingus.com/help/help/forms/refundform/

I put in my details - but the calendar on the form is a but screwed up. Would only let me enter up to "28" for the date of my cancelled flight (was 31/Jan) so no doubt Aer Lingusgus will say I didnt apply properly.

    Lets see.

Can't say if trans-atlantic is different but happens me regularly coming home from London. e.g. arrive 3 hours early to Heathrow after finishing meetings early. Charge is 50 squid to change flights.

They used to do it free years ago. Now they wont do it even if the later flights are over-booked.

They're trying to sell the "Flexi-Fare" seats for triple the price...
