    Hi ,got a minor issue with a purchase I made last week.
    Basically I put an order in ,online ,last thursday and the money was taken off my credit card on friday.
    But the order on the website is marked as recieved since thursday and hasn't changed. I've mailed the company and am still waiting response.

    Is it not common practice to charge a credit card straight away ?

    Some charge straight away, some charge on dispatch. Depends on the company really.

    What's the company by the way? Not CDWow I hope, as you'll never get it, if it is.

    It's not cdwow ,thanks to threads here I wouldn't touch them with a barge poll:)
