'00 Peugeot 206 - Change Rear Lamp

Some lovely kid smashed up the rear lamp of my 206 over the weekend. I've ordered a replacement. Is it rocket science to remove the old and insert the new or should I bring it to my mechanic and pay even more money out on a car that is depreciating in value while we speak?

I'd imagine it's easy enough, pull away the carpet around the inside and have a look. If you find a Peugeot forum i'm sure they'll have instructions, you see enough 206s going around with aftermarket rear light clusters.

Open the boot and pull away the lining(carefully) and check how its connected to the car. Usually you will just twist two pieces of plastic which hold the cluster to the bodywork. The light cluster will then be removable.

Reverse this step when replacing the new one.
