I found something online but only available at ebay. Payment would be through paypal. I have never used either and would like advce as to whether they are trustworthy. I found http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055053074
which does not give me confidence

Also I thought i would try to sell something i never used on ebay to offset cost of buying what i do want. It was 25 euro new and never used. Can I ask anything I want and should I add on the cost of regd mail as i read one should use a trackable/traceable way of delivering when taking money by paypal as they buyer could claim it did not arrive. Is that true

Thanks in advanc eif anyone can help

If you're going to buy on eBay, the first thing you'll want to do is set up a Paypal account, register your credit card with them, and verify your card. You'll find instructions when you sign up. Card verification can take up to a month, depending on how you get your statement, but you're better off not buying till you're verified.

If you're going to sell something, that's only worth 25 euro, then you can ask whatever price you want, but no one will pay over the odds for it. You may be lucky to get 10 euro for it, then take away the listing fees, and Paypal fee for receiving payment, you'd be doing well to get 8 euro out of it.

There are other tip threads on selling on eBay, have a look at those.

.I hoped to put some money into it froma 3v? Do I have to put all the 3v voucher into it? And if i use 3v do i have to reverify each time I get a new 3v voucher

You are limited to the amount you can spend, and receive, with an unverified account. Also, Paypal routinely put a hold on unverified account's funds, while they "investigate" your account. This can be a real bitch to get sorted too, and I've heard of people having their account frozen for weeks on end.

Some sellers will not sell to an unverified buyer too, as the card could have been stolen, or account forged.

You cannot put money in from 3V, or a credit card. You use them to fund a payment.

Each new 3V voucher added, must be verified. Paypal also suspend your account after adding 10 different card numbers. If you contact them, and explain that it's a disposable pre-pay card, they should lift the restriction.
