Hello. I want to take a week long sun-break sometime in April/May. I will more than likely be travelling alone and I would like to avoid the tacky package holiday spots. However, I want a bit of sunshine and a pool and/or beach. Are there spots in the Med that fit the bill? I'm a male in his late-20's, if that's any help.

April can be a hit and miss unless you go to places like the Canary Islands. Tijarafe, La Palma, is supposed to be quite good, and quiet

fly to portugal with ryanair,the hotels are beautiful too..
