Can someone please help me??

Just got a new laptop and Im not exactly computer savvy but everythings been goin fine! Only problem is whenever i go to shut down, it pauses to tell me there is a window open and this adobe window pops up out of nowhere. Doesn't matter if I then close it, when I try to turn off again it does the same thing. It means that I have to shut down without closing windows which is something im just not comfortable with. Ive tried talkin to Adobe but not gettin any help! Anyone have any ideas?

My first computer and I really dont wanna mess this up! Any ideas would be really appreciated!

sounds like adobe reader trying to update ,maybe? what other adobe stuff have u installed?

closing down with windows open is 100% ok once all files are saved !!!

i cant tell you the exact option but u can tell adobe reader not to check for updates automatically in its options somewhere. if its updating ull see a white box with a kind of star in it in the system try in the lower right of ur screen beside the clock, try right clicking on it.

is this a dell laptop?

Hey thanks for the advice, I thinks its just that there is a PDF opening at some point, but I dunno what, Ill keep looking! Thanks for letting me now that Im not doin any damage anyway, thats a relief!!!
