    hi

Can somebody clarify what is employers PRSI rate for a small salary (1,300 a month). As I remember it was 8.5%, but now I cannot find this info anymore. Everywhere is only 10.75%. Is that 8.5% rate cancelled and used one rate for everybody  ?

    thanks

To the best of my knowledge there is only one rate of 10.75%, and I stand to be corrected on this. I have only been doing wages and salries for a year though

Assuming you are class A for PRSI, one can earn up to 356 euro per week with employers PRSI at 8.5%. Anything above that will bring you into the 10.75% bracket

uh, thanks, then I did correct applying 8.5% rate. But it is strange that I cannot find any info. On IT1 (2008-2009)there is only one rate
