    Hi we bought a leather corner unit and armchair from Harvey Normans back in november but they didnt have the armchair in stock so we would have to wait until after xmas for it so we agreed to buy it and wait. We have been in contact with Harvey Norman several times since to the tune of "we will ring the supplier". We still havent recieved the armchair 11 weeks later and have now been told that the supplier in china is at fault for the delay that he didnt put it on the container coming from china and now we have to wait another 8 weeks for the armchair to come from china. That is 20 weeks in total for one armchair. Harvey Norman have offered E100 voucher or refund for the chair but then we have none to match the corner unit. We refused this because they kept saying they were ringing the supplier for weeks and now they are blaming the supplier for the mistake even though they were suppose to be in contact with them. Is there anything else we can do about it as we were not happy with their customer service?

    If they don't have the chair, and won't have it for another 8 weeks, then there's not a lot you can do beyond taking the refund on that.

    You could see if they'll take back the corner unit too, as it was matched with the chair. They probably won't want to do this, but I think you'd be within your rights, as you ordered them together, and HN have failed to deliver on half of it.
