so i have numerous emails to add into a mailing list in outlook.. but they are all in a mangled format like

    xxxxxx@eircom.net update delete Mon 02 Feb 2009 09:53 xxxxxx@xexll.com update delete Mon 02 Feb 2009 09:57 xxxxxx@gmail.com update delete Mon 02 Feb 2009 10:05

anyway i can just delete all the "update delete mon 02 feb " stuff? and just be left with the email address.. or is there some sort of right click add to mailing list function in outlook>?

    thanks in advance

Export all addresses to a csv file.
Open this file in excel and perform a search for all instances of update delete mon 02 feb " Delete each instace you find. This should leave you wth only the correct email address.

Now save the csv file and import it back into your address book, making sure to overwrite any existing entries.

Your address book should now only have the correct addresses.
