Okay, strange one... but I've recently upgranded my NTL from the cable kind (16 Channels) to the Box. (the one with 60 odd channels) Anyways, my question is, Do I bring this Box with me when moving house next week? I know its probably a stupid question but I've only got this box 2 months, and yes it was free installation etc, except the new house I'm moving into has'nt got a box, only the cable kind. I would ring NTL to sort this out but they tend to put people on hold for 30 minutes and I'm a work. I have planned on ringing them anyways to make sure they understanding I'm moving house. I've been messed around with this in the past (Another story) Anyhooo, any ideas?

When I moved, I was told the bring the box with me. That said, when they arrived to connect the cable, they changed the box anyway.

bring it with you so you dont have to wait for them to post you out a new one. Plug and play as far as I know once there is signal in the house

Yes. You need to bring the box with you as it's the property on UPC/NTL.

If you are connecting to Digital at your new location, and engineer should do the install.

Make sure you tell UPC that you wish to transfer the account you currently have to the new address.
