Insurance for drop-tops?

Does anybody know of insurance companies that do cover for drop-tops? I've done a quick search here and found nothing similar.

I've been with AIG (through AA) for the past two years but I am unhappy with the level of cover they offer. I am however finding it difficult to find another insurer that cover's convertibles.

Zurich, FBD Allianz etc. don't do convertibles and the online quotes are stalling a lot of the time. Are there any specialists out there or brokers that specialise in this type of insurance?

    Cheers.

My other half has her Cabrio insured with Eagle Star - they were excellent value. No harm to give them a shot.

    Try ringing them instead.

Online quotes only follow rules and haven't got leeway to overwrite a decline

I've rang Zurich (=Eagle Star) and they won't cover a drop-top. Well they won't cover me (30year old, full no claims).
