    McIlroy was the 19th Irishman to win a European PGA tournament (I think).....

    So can you name the other 18?

    Dont think the Euro tour was in existance then but good shout.
    I read somewhere resently that Daly considerered himself very much a Brit
    rather than Irish but it always goes down on the record as an Irish win..

    I think I'll have to do some research. I heard on TV that Rory was the 19th winner on the Tour so maybe it excludes people before the modern tour started.
