    McIlroy was the 19th Irishman to win a European PGA tournament (I think).....

    So can you name the other 18?

    Don't forget the now retired Skerries Pro and legend Jimmy Kinsella who won the 1972 Madrid Open on the European Tour.:)

    Dont think the Euro tour was in existance then but good shout.
    I read somewhere resently that Daly considerered himself very much a Brit
    rather than Irish but it always goes down on the record as an Irish win..

    I think I'll have to do some research. I heard on TV that Rory was the 19th winner on the Tour so maybe it excludes people before the modern tour started.
