F1 Hybrid Seeds

    I've just seen it written that F1 hybrid seeds are nonviable. I believe this to be untrue. I'm fairly sure that I'm right. Am I wrong?

    I assume you mean seeds collected from F1 hybrids?
    I doubt they mean non-viable as in will not germinate, they probably mean non- stable as in not producing identical plants.

    I think it was a case of beware non-germinating seeds from F1 hybrids. Seeds sold as F1 hybrids. It's in the back of the Sun. Times Home sect. about gardening. Yer man reckons they've been 'artificially engineered' but so has every variety of fruit and veg since that monk with the beans. Tosh I think.
