    Hi,

I want to take my wife and baby daughter away for a weekend break. Anyone got any recommendations of good deals on offer? All locations considered.

I'm not sure about deals at the moment, but I've always liked the Maryborough Hotel in Cork - gorgeous grounds, fabulous restaurant and the staff are great. I've always seen kids around too, so they must be family friendly.

If going to Maryborough, stress to have a room away from function rooms.

I went myself with wife and 3 month old baby. A wedding band kept us awake until 2am which is no fun when you are up at 6 with a baby.

In fairness to the hotel now, they knocked a significant amount off the bill at the end so that it would not put me off going back but just perhaps when you are booking mention this.
