Hi Guys I was wondering when are the semester 2 timetables finalised?? It still says draft timetable on every timetable.

I was told that they can be changing right up to the day before semester 2 starts but was also told by another student that there are finalised now?

Anyone Know The Story On Them?

I was told during semester 1 that my timetable wasn't finalised. Don't worry about it.

If you want a final answer just e-mail your lecturers and / or year head or class rep and ask. The system isn't standardised so you can't really tell for sure without just asking.

    I haven't a clue myself!

heh, fair point. The class rep route is really only relevant as a 'I'm too lazy / embarrassed / whatever to contact the lecturer on my own' technique =P Don't expect a very fast response from lecturers either though cos most of them will be busy correcting exams right now.

If it does change, which it can after the semester starts you'll know about it because it'll probably be your lecturer looking for a new slot for a tutorial or a lecture. Take it as finalised now but just keep checking it every so often just to make sure you know about the changes if/whenever the happen.

Timetables are subject to change for the first 2 weeks of a semester.

Hope your right. Don't like my timetable. I'm in 5 hours on a Friday From 9am. Of Course I know that many times Class Reps approach the lectures if the Majority of the class aren;t happy with class timetable and then get it changed to another time.
