How does your experience of life change as you grow older?

Personally I've found that I change my outlook on life quiet regularly, to the extent that I wonder can I ever really know anything for sure.
To quote Oscar Wilde (I think) "I'm not young enough to know everything".

I guess what I'm asking is how have you changed.
    I'll start:

I used to be a fundementalist Christian, now I'm without religion.
I used to think that homosexuality was wrong, now I don't care as long as they're happy.
I used to think I had to be perfect, I agonised over every flaw, I used to push people away, now they can get a little closer.
I guess you spend a lot of your life trying to make yourself happy, once I discovered that things started to get better.
I'm looking forward to things changing again.

I have an ulterior motive for starting this thread, I'm trying to support a research project I'm interested in by getting people to answer a few questions in an online survey. Its completely anonymous of course and the results are only analysed as a whole.
The aim of the project is to discover whether your life experience and emotional state change over the course of your life and its being run by an undergrad studying psychology for her final year thesis.
Let me know what you think of the survey too, I'd like to get some feedback, and also when I get the survey results I'll make sure to get a copy posted here icon_smile.gif

The survey is on the web, its at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=t ... VEig_3d_3d
