I used to listen to it all the time, it's a great show.

    Thanks for reminding me!

Yeah I have to agree, it's a great show. NPR is a great and underutilised resource actually. It's always a good sign when G.W. Bush cuts its funding.:p

You can get it (and a small range of other NPR shows) on digital radio over here now; but my auld lad has been listening on satellite since the analogue days - NPR is on Hotbird now.

I've listened to American car podcasts, can't remember if that was the one. However I'm not that well versed on American domestic models so not so interesting for me. I've been searching for an eqivilant this side of the Atlantic. Best I've found is 'Gareth Jones on Speed' (also features Richard Porter from Sniff Petrol/Top Gear and a guy called Zog.)

It can be very, very good, Porter especially is a potential future TG presenter. They REALLY know their motoring trivia. They're big into motorsport as well - Le Mans and especially F1 gets a lot of coverage.

Only annoying thing in that Gareth Jones thinks he's dreadfully witty and a great mimic and they have some absolutely cringe-worthy sketches and misical interludes. Ignore that and it's great...
