Now hang on a minute here, I'm starting to get a wee bit confused. In this thread you're asking for advice about what to do when some guy comes home soon, and now you're asking about speed dating. So which is it you really want advice on?

My advice, see what happens with the guy coming home first and worry about the speed dating later. Your friends can sort themselves out if they want to go sooner.

yeah ur right. but they've been giving out to me for waiting for him cos he's been gone for awhile and wont be home til the end of the yr. hope he doesnt meet the luv of his life while he's gone! even though I really dont know if he's gona be interested in me when he gets home, he's def worth waiting for. God I sound like a sap :P
