    Hey Guys,

    I just came across the program to become a friend of GNOME. You can commit to giving $10 a month to them via PayPal. This support goes towards development and hackfests.

    Just letting you guys know about it incase you are interested in helping out. You also get a free t-shirt (after one year) and a postcard saying thanks.

    (When you sign up you choose from a list of hackers to sponsor. The person you select on the list is the person who sends you the postcard, the actual money you send is put into the GNOME account, it doesn't go to one individual.)
