Using Google Video Chat with O2/3G connection

Has anyone had any success running Google Video chat on a 3G connection?

It keeps crapping out when I try on O2. I am getting above 1mb d/l and 384kb u/l

No error message is given, just doesn't connect sound or picture.

Works fine when I try it from my landline connection (8mb/400kb)

Yes, it is probably bandwidth related but Maybe some clever clogs know a way around this?

    Ta muchness,

    S.

    Jitter and latency too high
    session disconects too often
    erratic speed

It works just about on 42kbps dialup.

The 3G is rarely stable enough.

    Ta muchness.
