Does anyone know what's going on with the old house on the c-link road roundabout (by the hospital)? Seems the council have been working on it the last couple of days - doing something with the roof I think.

    Any ideas?

I know they are moving the pedestrian crossing down and away from the roundabout at last (end of carnage), is the work on the house part of that?

The council bought that house 5 years ago as part of the road scheme. They own the house and not the yard. Thats why they are building the wall. There was fire in it recently so it must be cheaper to knock it down rather than fix it up.

Thanks for the update. Thought it was strange that they were knocking the house down and building a wall!

When are they gonna start on the new (much needed) pedestrian crossing?
