Guitar hero wt OR Rock band?????????

    Hey everyone been thinking this over for a while nd was thinking bout getting guitar hero world tour but then i saw rock band was cheaper nd i really dont know much bout rock band but anyway was wondering which is better???? or is there even a difference???? songs arent a big problem for me unless all the songs are just badly done fall out boy songs nd we all know their not in either games (well im sure their not) THANK GOD!!!! so lets hear wha u guys have to set LET THE FANS COMENCE ARGUMENTS NOW!!!!!!!!!

    gh series is much better imo, everything about, particularly the game layout, download content etc, worth the extra few pound, you wont regret it

    Yes it's been out since November.

    If you haven't got any of the games yet I'd recommend getting guitar hero 2,it's only €40 with the guitar and if you like it you can go ahead and get one of the full kits for rock band/wt. http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055474963

    Rock Band absolutely destroys guitar hero in terms of DLC,rock band has over 550,that's double the amount of guitar hero 2,3 and world tour combined!
    Guitar Hero world tour has the worst interface by far out of every rock band/guitar hero. It's near impossible to see your multiplier without taking your eyes off the note chart,there is hardly any way to tell when you miss a note(in previous games the note higway would shake a tiny bit and there would be sound,in this it doesn't budge),quite often I would play a solo and have no idea whether I hit it or not!

    Yes it is. Seen it in all the major games retailers. The RB2 instruments aren't out.

    And I'd also much prefer Rock Band to Guitar Hero. IIRC though, there is a Fall Out Boy track in RB1.

    IsMisrConor is right, Rock Band 2 is not available in Europe for PS3. It is for 360 but then this is a Playstation forum.
    There is no release date for Rock Band 2 or RB2 instruments.

    I bought GH:WT because of this as the instruments or guitar game are easily available and are excellent quality. I bought RB1 recently and its an excellent game also with some nice ideas but its limited (no bass tour mode, quickplay stacking, etc..) compared to GH:WT and the much better RB2 which is not available in Europe.

    Are you looking at the band pack or just guitar+game?

    Sorry I didn't realise this was the playstation section,I just saw the thread on the first page.
    I'd advise you to wait for Rock Band 2 to come out for the ps3,it's a thousand times better than every other guitar hero/rock band game.
