It seems almost too good to be true, an ex-boss of mine had one similar (S 500)
If you can afford the usual bills it is a steal.

Aye, at closer inspection the bodywork looks at tad rough. I don't know, i'd have to see it up close. From here, looks well:D

Great deal, but still seems rough around the edges, bumps and scratches all over the place. Why does everyone make such a big deal about it's previous owner being a woman?

it was just me that mentioned it was a woman driver.

it was a light hearted joke.

don't tar everyone who replied to the thread with the brush you're tarring me with :pac:

Does anybody else think that its an unusual car for a woman to buy from new?
With so many other choices in the range it seems a little odd.

It's funny what this has turned into. The whole reason i looked up the value of these cars was because there was a woman driving a 99 one in front of me today. I was curious as to what they were worth.

Ad says woman owner from '02. Presumably a big hairy arsed sales director had it for three years intimidating learners the length and breadth of the land, driving inches from their rear bumpers in a mad dash to get back to the golf club to discuss the monthly medal over a few points of Heino. :D

Hell of a car for the money though.

Ah, missed that it was only lady owner from 02, that makes more sense.

Either way its a lot of car for the money, though I always thought "S320" was a bit of a contradiction. A derv swiller might be worth the extra few bob, more of a fan of the bangle 7 series myself.

2003 s320 cdi can be had for about 17 - 18k. That is probably a better buy. The slightly facelifted 03 on cars are supposedly better built. So its 4 years never and diesel for 10k more?

Ah but then you are spending 18k. There's alot you can buy for 18k. I think 8k is great for that car. Spending 18k would defeat the purpose.

Yes I understand that the 'cheapness' was the point of the thread. Its a good buy if you do small miles and want to keep it for years.

Aye exactly. Tax is an absolute killer though, i could not justify paying that much of a percent value of the car just on taxing it each year. Pity that. I like they way the offer a years tax with it. I think that'll really help the sale.
