    Hi All

Does any one have an idea of how much the following would cost to get repaired in Dublin. Thanks

Apple Mac Book Pro 2.4GHz, 2GB RAM, 120GB HD
The cd drive stopped working about a month ago, i have no idea why. it doesn't even come up as a listed piece of hardware within the computer.
The power button sometimes works and sometimes doesn't (i presume it is a small soldering job needed.
The battery lasts about an hour.
There is a very small hair scratch on the screen about 10mm long.

Well don't go to Mactivate, lovely people and all but my MBP has been away from me since mid November, I got it back on new years eve to find out that more was wrong with it than before, only this morning did they get around to fixing it and I won't get it till monday.

    End rant.

If the MBP is in warranty, it's Mactivate and Dectec in Dublin 15 or Typetec is Dublin 12. I have found Mactivate decent (though I know of some bad tales) and they are Apple only, which may appeal to you.

Outside of warranty, Bondigroup are off Clanbrassil Street in Dublin 8 and it is top notch, quick, cheap and very very pleasant; Dean is on the ball and fully Apple accredited :)
