I think it referes to the Handbrake. Open your user manual in the glove box and look up what it says...

There are a couple of Audi people here that will probably be able to help you. Looks like a brake issue to me (uneducated guess).

Let me however be the first to apologise to you. Someone is going to come down on you like a ton of bricks for taking a picture on a phone while doing 13Mph :D

Brake wear. It can also come on if the ABS sensor is a bit dodgy as used to be the case in an A4 I had if I hit a bump sometimes.

    Check brakes.
Most likely the pads are low.

That's the average speed from the trip computer not the current speed.

Should have been obvious from the OP's location.

Could also be the ABS, the one warning light covers all brake issue's.
However your probably right, worn pads are more common problem.

    If it is pads ....

Where is the best place to get pads? www.micksgarrage.ie ?

Is it an easy enough job? Im thinking of bringing it to a tyre / pads place.

Could be something simple that an Audi Diagnosis would charge you for. Did you check/top up your brake fluid?

You'd be better off buying genuine parts because a lot of spurious parts don't have wear indicators. Easy job, probably 20minutes by the time they put the car on the lift and take it down. Pads are €40 - 50.

Best place to get genuine Audi parts? Audi Dealer?

It's a brake issue of some sort, plugging in a diagnostic computer will reveal the fault.

I prefer to think of it though, as the car warning you that Darth Vader is about to open fire:

Its not ABS, if it were you'd feel it (judder as you come to a stop) and see the ABS indicator permenently on (very annoying) Tis brake pads
