I bought one of these the last time they were available and its spot on, use the mouse all the time. Well worth the 22 euro.

I'd open it up and make sure its a QWERTY, but I doubt they'd have the balls to sell German ones.

    make sure its not QWERTZ

In my experience, they always make their tech bits region specific for UK & Irl

Bought one today & its spot on. Loads of extra buttons on the keyboard for opening programs such as Word, Excel & Outlook.

Well worth the money & connected with no hassle

I thought it was a touchpad for a sec because i went and bought a Logitech wireless keyboard the other day that cost me €105 with a touchpad on it.

    Phew :)

Is it the same mouse they sold on it's own about a year ago? Looks very like it - have to say I find it very good to use.

Well I unplugged the thing and am using my old mouse - the same mouse i have about 4 years. some Dell one that's still going strong.
The Silvercrest one didn't feel right at all.

Picked this up earlier - very pleased with the keyboard - feels more solid and responsive than the cheap Logitech keyboard which I got with the Bargain Alerts Dell Vostro a while back.

The buttons for Email, Home, Calculator, Mute, volume control dial all work without using the install cd as do the browser refresh and the back page/ forward page buttons.

No problems with the mouse either - not much different to the one Lidl sold a while back which I really got used to - have to say I like the way it fits in the hand. All in all for €23 I'm happy and there was little or nothing to set up bar sticking in the batteries in both and plugging in the USB receiver.

if they are placed on a metal surface it may interfere with the signal to the keyboard or mouse

The calulator and computer shortcuts are the only ones working for me.

How might I get the word one to work?

Did you install the software on the cd? I presumed the rest of the buttons would work for me if I bothered to install the software. There are instructions on Page 17 of the manual for programming certain keys to programs of your choice after you install the software.

Did I install the CD? nah.

Don't even know if I can find it.
That calculator button is handy enough though.

Installed the software and all buttons now work on the left side of the keyboard. Very easy to change the defaults - Switched the Word button for Dreamweaver and the Excel button for the Copy function which is available in the dropdowm menu.

Just if anyone is wondering, I got this for the PS3 and it works a charm. Cheap and easy to use. Havn't tried pressing the designated buttons yet, but I doubt they'll do anything.

Bought one last year for the PC, and it's still in use now. Very quick and easy to plug in and use.... unlike some other keyboards I've got!
