How to buy a (girly) saddle?

As per the title, I want a new saddle. The one I have (bog standard cheap one on the cheap Beone Briza) is fine, but I'd like somehting a bit comfier. But how does one buy one? Trial and error until you find what you like?

I understand the basic principal of wide+comfy = not so comfy over long distances, but I'm not cycling too far at the moment so i'd be happy with that.

Any general saddle-buying advice, or more specific recommendations from any of the girls on here?
    Thanks

    yes me!!!

that really depends what kind of confort you are looking for. I have switched all my saddles to ladies specific saddle even before cycling them :)

I really like the Specialized ones.

I recommend this one and this other one ( I have that last one on my alu bike in sz 155, I have even used it without padding and it's fine )

Have a look at the evans cycles site, they have ( i find ) the best selection for ladies saddles.

I also have a Ladies Charge saddle on my fixie that I really like ( i think they only do 1 women specific saddle ) and I use it often without padding.

EDIT: I can't seems to find the saddle I have on my carbon bike, it came with my Specialized Ruby Pro It's also a Specialized Jett Saddle 143cm but quite hard, however my favourite one ever. It could be an older version of that one.

    Any question, don't hesitate :)

The Selle Italia ones are meant to be good
this ladies one I've had recommended to me http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Cycle/7/Selle_Italia_Gel_Flow_Ladies_Saddle/5360028958/

    I haven't used it though so can't vouch. I have a man's saddle ...oops!

Thanks for the replies, I've just ordered a Specialized from Evans (cos sales are good :) )

I've only ever had men's saddles, but I thought that if I was getting a new one I might as well get a ladies' and see what it's like!

    Thanks again
