Everyone varies at around that age.. Why not just go train for a few months, see how your body feels and then decide if you want to or not? In Thailand, muay thai competitor's careers are already over in their early 20's.. Although, they do start fighting very young and quite often.

you heard wrong... we're excellent :)

come down give it a lash you'll know after a few weeks without having to ask if your up for it or not... age its only a number... look at bernard hopkins

I'd echo what the others have said....give it a lash. You've nothing to lose. Fitness levels at amateur (3 x 2 minute rounds) aren't anywhere near what's required for pro fighting (5 x 3 minute rounds).

ah sure whatever about the competitions would someone my age feel out there if i just wanted to train to keep fit i know some clubs are just full of kids

Any club i trained in had a wide range of ages. There was more kids than adults but we grouped off so it was no problem. I'd also say you should give it a couple of classes and see what you think.
Wouldn't mind getting back into it myself, purely for the fitness though, i'd have no interest in fighting competitively again.

Not sure what the policy is in chupasart, but I'd hazard a guess that it's not full of kids.

Anyway....just get down there. Give it a lash!

the best thing to do 'bigsam' would be to drop down and watch a class, make up your own mind.

    mon 8.30-10pm
wed 8-9.30 (but from wed 11th feb on it will be 7-8.30pm)
    sat 2-4pm

whether your interests are competition, lose some weight, get fit etc etc you'll have fun...as long as you can put up with paddy's music :)
